Politics and government can be said to arise inevitably wherever people live together.

Politics necessarily arises when a group of people lives together, since they must always reach collective decisions of one kind or another.

Politics is necessary because people can accomplish goals and solve problems through collective action they could not achieve alone.

·individuals and groups cannot fulfill their potential without politics and government and would be insecure and endangered without the forces organized for public security provided by government.

·according to one traditional view, politics and government arise through a natural process of human development.

·according to other traditional views, politics and government arise because human begins are inherently morally flawed and their moral flaws make government necessary.
