背景介绍：Doug, an Australian studying Chinese at Peking University, is meeting with his language partner Li Li to practice Chinese and English. Li Li has just returned to Beijing after going back to her hometown during the Spring Festival.

Doug: Hi Li Li, long time no see!
Li Li: [--sentence--] How was your holiday?
Doug: It was alright ...I just stayed in Beijing and studied most of the time. I'm still trying to get ready for next month's HSK. How about you?
Li Li: I had a great holiday... It's always nice to spend time with my family. Oh, before I forget, I brought this back for you [hands a bag to Doug]. It's spicy dried beef floss, a [--phrase--] from my hometown in Inner Mongolia.
Doug: Thanks, Li Li! That's very [--word--] of you!
Li Li: Don't mention it. As you can see, each piece is individually wrapped, so it's convenient to enjoy them as a snack. [--sentence--]

After finishing this study session with Li Li, Doug returns to his dorm, where his roommate Gabriel, a fellow Australian, is listening to his iPod.

Gabriel: Hey, how was your "date" with Li Li?
Doug: Haha, we're still just friends... at least for now. Look, she brought me this local specialty from Inner Mongolia -- spicy dried beef floss! [--sentence--] I have to run out to mail a letter, but I'll be back in a few minutes.

Five minutes later, Doug returns to his dorm once again. Dozens of empty beef wrappers are scattered on the floor.

Gabriel: Oh hi, you're back... Listen, about the dried beef floss...
Doug: Oh my God, you ate all of it?! That's almost a pound of beef!
Gabriel: Yeah... Listen, could you ask Li Li if she has any more? [--sentence--]
Doug: [in disbelief] [--sentence--]
