The Facebook group [which has] attracted 500,000 fans [in] under [a] month invites women to post photos[/images] of themselves without cover[unveiled and] outside. Hundreds of them have offered up images [at] familiar sites, from the depths of Teheran's metro to the heights of Milad Tower, Iran's tallest [building]. I loathe [the] hijab, [one] Facebooker wrote under her photograph. I too like my hair to feel the sun and /let/ [the] wind [to] touch/es/ my hair. Is that a big sin?

But many Iranian women, irritated by the almost gleeful attention /caused by/ the Facebook campaign [has arounsed] in the western media, feel this[/it] is not the right way ahead. This battle should not be fought by people[someone] /living/ outside Iran, says a 33-year-old Teheran tourism worker, who is no fan of [the] hijab. Attracting international attention means a crackdown. The clergy ha[ve] been piqued by the campaign as[since the] hijab is a symbol of cleric[al] control.
